Simon had battled the entire Friday, each session being more than 1 sec off the pace, however over night the team found an issue with his setup and Simon managed a Second in the Second race of the day.

The 3rd last round of the Wesbank Super Series, was held in Cape Town on the famous Killarney race track. Simon Moss claimed victory, and is now crowned the 2010 FVW CHAMPION after a faultless season.

The past weekend in Swartkowps went very well from my side, dominating practice 1, 2 and 3. In qualifying, I managed to keep my dominant form and take pole position for race 1 and 2 by more than 0, 3 of a second.

Simon Moss is a South African Champion as well as the Formula BMW Pacific Rookie Champion. Currently he is participating in the Formula Volkswagen Championship.
Motorsport runs in his blood, having Terry Moss as his father there is no doubt Motorsport is part of his life. His first race was at the age of 6 in a 50cc kart.
In 2002 Simon received his Eastern Province Colours for Motorsport and then built on it by receiving his Springbok colours after winning the 2006 Junior rok Championship and performing on a high level in the Junior Rok World Final managing to finish 5th after leading the Final.

Simon received his Eastern Province Motorsport colours in 2002. In 2006 he recieved his Springbok colours as a result of great success in local and International events. Simon has also been awarded the Victor Ladorum as well as been acknowledged as Junior Sportsman of the year in 2006 and 2007 by his Previous School Daniel Pienaar.
In 2009 he was awarded Senior Sportsman of the year for his success in F/BMW Pacific.
In 2006 he was crowned Junior Rok Champion, later that year he participated in the Rok World Finals at South Gargda, Lanato and he managed a 6th position in the Final after starting from 21st position.
In 2007 Simon moved up to the 125cc Super Rok Championship to compete in the open class with the big guns, he was just 16 at the time and managed an incredible 2nd Overall in the South African Championship.
The same year he went to compete in the Super Rok World Final, after he had been setting fast times in the top 3, it came down to the Final he was in a comfortable 3rd place with just 3 laps remaining Simon was challenging for 2nd stop and sadly his motor blew on him in the diying stages of the Final.
In 2008 young Simon was awarded a Formula BMW Scholarship to participate in the F/BMW Pacific Championship. That year he won 9 Rookie races and 5 overall victories, he was declared Rookie Champion with a round to go and managed a phenomenal 3rd overall in the Championship.

In 2009 he raced locally.
2nd Overall in the Super Rok Championship
5th Overall in F/VW (missed a round)

Simon was crowned the 2010 SOUTH AFRICAN F/VW CHAMPION.
